T-Pain has always shown love to the original voice-modulating pimp, Roger Troutman. In no particular order (because everything he did was genius) check out 5 amazing Roger Troutman performances.

1. "I Wanna Be Your Man"

Genius.

2. "So Ruff So Tuff" in Aruba

He still had it, even later in his career, especially in the suit department. Also, wtf is Sinbad doing there?

3. Live on BET

Lookin' like an admiral in Prince’s navy...Also, check out the guitar shaped like an assault rifle.

4. 2Pac - "California Love"

This track would only be half as dope without that amazing Roger chorus. This might be the definitive Roger performance, but then again, there isn’t a bad one. Rog gets his Road Warrior on at 3:09 and 4:25.

5. "Heard it Through The Grapevine"

Couldn’t find a video so the track will have to do. Turn it up.

This was also Big Worm’s soundtrack in Friday. Amazing.
