The shot of Pain I would gladly take
into the night
into the day
into my heart
in so many ways
through beats and rhythme
through sounds and words
he's moved and given
me reason to love
we share fondness of music
of family and friends
both try hard and put in 100 percent
and when we lay down
our sleepy heads for the night
we dream sweet dreams of musical delight
