I'm a fan (and you should be too) because I not only understand where T-pain comes from, but I know how hard it has been for artist in our area to receive the glory that has been passed due. Being an aspiring artist for over ten years, I am glad to see the music industry embracing real local talent which is very rich in our area. I am a native of Valdosta, Ga. and T-pain is only 45 minutes away in Tallahassee. We know bout FAMU and FSU Homecomings, getting trapped in traffic on Tennessee St., and most of all, we know the love shared by South Georgians and North Floridians for the capital of Florida.("Tallahassee Love") I am very identical to T-Pain with my music, being equally as good in both Hip Hop and Soul, and I am focusing all my energy to get my family of musicians to him and his label. Think you seen T-Pain, this is just the beginning because he is now the "People's Champ" for our area joining legends like Field Mob, Camoflauge (R.I.P.), and many more. Just would like to end with congratulations and bring it home T-Pain!
Put It Down
Obviously the best song on the cd. Almost a tease because as you get into the track it is over. The song is only 3 1/2 minutes long causing you to put it on repeat. Listen to the song over and over and it sounds better every time. Believe T-pain made song short and sweet on purpose to leave room for a remix with some of his friends, Hopefully Twista and Trick daddy.
